Utah: Blue plastic found in food
Several people found hard, blue plastic in their food, after that there’s a nationwide recall of popular frozen meals made in Utah.
The meals came from Nestlé Prepared Foods Company in Springville and were prepared from Aug. 18 through Oct. 27 of this year.
The company says it has received a report of someone being injured by the plastic.
The recall involves more than 1 million meals, and stores throughout the Wasatch Front are already pulling them from shelves.
The three entrées are part of Nestlé’s popular Lean Cuisine line and include the Chicken Mediterranean, the Chicken Tuscan and Pesto Chicken with Bow Tie Pasta.
