Sorority Colleges and Courage in Women
In early days women were not permitted to go out or talk with men. They were not allowed to study nor do a job. Today, that trend has changed totally with introduction of sorority colleges in the earlier days. Sorority or sisterhood develops spirit in women and makes them leaders. There are many sorority colleges in society, which develop courage and motivation in women.
Tau Kappa Epsilon is one popular fraternity college founded on January 10th 1989. This college is located in Illinois. It has also expanded to some parts of USA and Canada. Main aim of this fraternity is to make women perfect in service-oriented activities and help them in social bonding. This fraternity makes women believe in love, god and loyalty.
Alpha phi is another women’s fraternity founded at Syracuse University in 1872. Founder’s day of this college is celebrated on October 10th. Main aim of this organization is to develop character, unity, affection and social communication in women. This university focuses on god’s principles and teaches women about love and care. “Union hand is hand” is the motto of this organization.
Alpha Kappa Alpha is first society which included Greek words. It was founded on January 15th 1908 at Howard University. This society serves 2,00,000 women in terms of the sorority. It is part of NPHC(National Pan-Hellenic Council)
